We’ve all heard the different arguments people have for rejecting the Bible – “it’s full of contradictions”, “it’s been re-written and can’t be trusted”, “it’s outdated and regressive”. But are those claims and slogans about the Bible really true? In this sermon, we look at 1.) Why people don’t trust the Bible as authoritative in their lives, 2.) Why people can trust the Bible as authoritative in their lives, and 3.) Why people need to trust the Bible as authoritative in their lives.
