People have various reasons for not believing the gospel and receiving it into their lives. Most people, however, do not receive the gospel into their lives by faith because it threatens what is nearest and dearest to their hearts; comfort, control, respect, man's approval, success, self-righteousness, etc. In this sermon, we look at how Jesus comes into our lives to overthrow the idols of our hearts and to free us to love and enjoy God.
