Advent is a season where Christians all over the world celebrate the long-awaited promise given by God and kept in Jesus Christ. To draw us near to Jesus this Advent, Charis is studying Luke 15 and the parable Jesus told about a father and his love for his two sons. The father in the story reveals what God is like, while the two sons in the story are to help us see what we are like. In today's sermon, we examine the son and the reckless behavior that led him astray from his father to seek a mythical life of satisfaction.
