We love the Bible, because the Bible is where God’s Spirit speaks to us.  Our hearts and minds are easily led away from God (“prone to wander” is how one old hymn says it), and it is through the Bible that God speaks to us, captivates our attention, and informs us of how we are to view Him, ourselves, others, and our world.
