Worshiping God

Worshiping God is first about valuing, loving, and treasuring God above all others.  It is saying with the Psalmist, “Whom have I in heaven but you, and there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you.  My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever (Psalm 73:25,26).”  And it’s through our deep desire for God that worship spills over into our lives and becomes living in joyful, sacrificial obedience to God (Romans 12:1).

Missional Living

Missional living means living your life on mission with God to bring about reconciliation and transformation in people’s lives.  This comes through in lots of different ways:  through praying for them, sharing the Gospel with them, serving them, doing acts of kindness for them, and loving them.

Realizing Community

Through the Gospel of Jesus Christ, a new community was created.  And, by believing the Gospel, we are placed into this community, which is called the Church.  So, community isn't something we need to find or build, rather its something we need to realize has been given to us in the Gospel.
